About Mike Levine Lakelands Trail State Park

A converted rail corridor forms the spine of this park, stretching 31.9 miles from southwest of Munith to Hamburg Township. The northern side is set aside for hiking and biking while the southern side is designated for horseback riding, with surfaces ranging from crushed limestone, slag, and sand to unimproved ground west of Pinckney. A 10-mile paved stretch runs through Hamburg Township, continuing beyond the park boundary near Hamburg Road to Whitmore Lake Road in Green Oak Township.
