About Scenic State Park
Virgin pine forests surround Sandwick Lake and Coon Lake at the center of this 3,936-acre park, with additional shoreline stretching along Lake of the Isles, Tell Lake, Cedar Lake, and Pine Lake. Before the park's founding, the Ojibwe had used the grounds for hunting. Visitors today can camp, hike, swim, fish, and paddle a canoe across the connected waters.
