About Ahern State Park
Land bordering Lake Winnisquam was set aside to create this 128-acre protected area, which now carries 3,500 feet of undeveloped lake shoreline within New Hampshire's Lakes Region. The grounds stay open all year and support hiking and biking on their trails, along with non-motorized boating and fishing access to the lake. Its shoreline length and acreage give a sense of how much of the property borders the water directly.
