About Rollins State Park

Mount Kearsarge's southern slope holds this park at the base of an auto road that climbs to within half a mile of the summit. Hiking trails continue on foot from the road's high point to the top. Picnic facilities are set at the entrance. The park takes its name from Frank W. Rollins, who was governor of New Hampshire from 1899 to 1901.
