About Bristol Beach State Park
Formed in 1967 and placed under the Palisades Interstate Park Commission, this 242-acre tract along the Hudson River has remained undeveloped since its creation. The park protects a stretch of riverfront land without added facilities or built structures, leaving the shoreline in its raw state. Its size and river frontage give visitors access to Hudson River acreage that has not been converted for recreation or development.
