About Harriman State Park

Spanning 48,556 acres across Rockland and Orange counties, this land was set aside as the state's second largest park, holding 31 lakes and multiple streams within its borders. Great vistas open up along more than 200 miles of trails, all maintained by volunteers from the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. A public camping area gives visitors a base for exploring the terrain on foot.
