About Nehalem Bay State Park
A sand spit separates Nehalem Bay from the open ocean, giving the park a stretch of land bordered by beach on one side and calm bay water on the other. The park sits on this spit near Nehalem and Manzanita, protecting the shoreline and dune landscape between the two bodies of water. Visitors get access to both surf and bay frontage within the same grounds.
