About Shepperds Dell State Park

A concrete arch bridge spans the small canyon here, carrying the Historic Columbia River Highway across Shepperd's Dell, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park protects this narrow gorge cut into the Columbia River Gorge, sitting just under a third of a mile from Rooster Rock State Park. Visitors can see the bridge itself along with the canyon it crosses.
