About Reed Island State Park
A 510-acre island in the Columbia River makes up the entire park, and it can only be reached by boat. The land was donated to the state in 1954 by the family of Secretary of State Sam Reed. It lies along the Columbia River Water Trail and offers primitive camping and picnicking areas for those who paddle or boat in.
