About Anderson Lake State Park
496 acres of woods and wetland slope down to a 70-acre lake on the Quimper Peninsula. Trails within the park accommodate hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and the lake itself allows non-motorized boating, fishing, and birdwatching. Periodically, toxic algae blooms, generally in late spring and summer, prompt bans on all water use.
