About Fort Townsend State Park
Nearly 4,000 feet of shoreline on Port Townsend Bay give access for boating, fishing, and crabbing here. The grounds cover about a third of the original 1856 military fort that once stood on the site, with 6.5 miles of hiking trails winding through the property along with picnicking and camping areas.
