About Cutts Island State Park
A clay butte topped with trees makes up the entire two-acre island this park protects, sitting within Carr Inlet a half-mile offshore from Kopachuck State Park. At low tide a teardrop-shaped beach appears, and the island can only be reached by boat or, occasionally, by crossing an exposed sandbar. Eight mooring buoys serve visiting boaters, and activities center on beachcombing and scuba diving.
