About McMicken Island Marine State Park
A tombolo links forested McMicken Island to the larger Harstine Island at low tide, forming the main feature of this 222-acre marine park in Case Inlet. The park includes 11.5 acres of the island itself along with 1,661 feet of saltwater shoreline and a sheltered cove. Visitors can hike, boat, and harvest shellfish here. It is managed as a satellite of Jarrell Cove State Park and takes its name from William C. McMicken, Washington's Surveyor General from 1873 to 1886.
