About Eagle Island Marine State Park

Eagle Island itself makes up the whole of this park, a five-acre piece of land sitting in Balch Passage between McNeil and Anderson islands, about 750 feet off Anderson Island's north shore. The park occupies the entire island, and the name traces back to Harry Eagle, a member of the 1841 Wilkes Expedition.
