About Federation Forest State Park

The White River runs through 619 acres of old-growth forest here, with stands of Douglas fir, western hemlock, Sitka spruce, and western redcedar. Seven miles of hiking trails wind through the property, and an interpretive center gives visitors context on the trees and terrain. Picnic facilities are also on site, and the location sits along Route 410 below the Chinook Pass summit.
