About Nolte State Park

Deep Lake anchors this 117-acre property, offering 7,174 feet of shoreline, a fishing pier, a beach area, and a trail circling the water. The lake itself covers 39 acres and drops to 76 feet deep, holding rainbow trout, coastal cutthroat trout, kokanee, crappie, and brown bullhead. Boat access is limited to carry-in launches with restricted parking. The land operated as a resort for years before Minnie Nolte donated it to the state in 1971.
