About Lake Chelan State Park
Along the southwest shore of Lake Chelan, this 139-acre recreation area sits on the east side of the Cascade Mountains, giving visitors direct access to the water. Land for the park was first purchased by the state in 1942 and the grounds opened the following year. Activities available there include camping, picnicking, hiking, boating, and other water-based recreation.
