About Moran State Park
Over 5,000 acres of forest, wetland, bog, hillside, and lake terrain make up this recreation area on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. It ranks as the largest public recreation area in the island chain and the fourth largest state park in Washington. An observation tower sits atop Mount Constitution, which at 2,407 feet is the highest point in the surrounding county.
