About Posey Island State Park
A one-acre island in Spieden Channel makes up the entirety of this park, with roughly 1,000 feet of saltwater shoreline facing the water near Roche Harbor. Its two campsites belong to the Cascadia Marine Trail and can only be reached by non-motorized watercraft. The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has managed the island since 1960 under a lease from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
