About Nisqually State Park
Forested land spanning 1,300 acres makes up this park's grounds, situated on territory long tied to several Native peoples, particularly the Nisqually Indian Tribe. Beginning in 2026, oversight here will be shared between the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and an indigenous community, a joint arrangement found in only one other park across the state.
