Public land totaling 1,220 acres sits along the western shore of Lake Eufaula, a 45,000-acre impoundment of the Chattahoochee River. The property borders Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge and falls under the management of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Its location along the reservoir's shoreline places it at the edge of a large, engineered lake system tied directly to the river it dammed.
