About Crystal Cove State Park

A cluster of beach houses along the shoreline forms the Crystal Cove Historic District, preserved within the park's boundaries. The land covers 3,936 acres of coastal cliffs, chaparral canyons, and shoreline between the Pacific Coast Highway and the ocean, including three miles of beaches and tide pools and a 1,400-acre marine conservation area with an underwater park. Bluffs make up 400 acres and canyons account for 2,400 acres of the total acreage.
