About Hearst San Simeon State Park

Rocky shoreline and uncommon habitat make up most of this 3,409-acre stretch of coast between Cambria and San Simeon. Within its boundaries lie three separate preserves, Santa Rosa Creek, San Simeon, and Pa-nu, all set aside in 1990 to protect natural and cultural resources. The land itself was first set aside as parkland decades earlier.
