About Tomales Bay State Park

Sheltered shoreline along Tomales Bay splits this roughly 2,000-acre park into two separate sections, one on each side of the water. The western portion sits on the Point Reyes peninsula, bordering land run by the National Park Service as part of Point Reyes National Seashore. The eastern section lies across the bay, giving the park two distinct pieces of land connected only by the water between them.
