About Pearl Lake State Park
Named for M. Pearl Hartt, wife of pioneer sheep rancher John Kelly Hartt, Pearl Lake sits at the base of Farwell Mountain. The park protects the lake and surrounding land near Hahns Peak Village. Its setting places it against the mountain's base, tying the water directly to the terrain that rises above it.
