Mono Pond, a 113-acre body of water with an average depth of 3.5 feet and a nine-foot depth near its dam, sits at the center of this 218-acre reserve in Columbia. The surrounding land offers fishing, hiking, picnicking, cross-country skiing, and bow hunting, along with a boat launch accommodating both motorized and non-motorized craft. The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection manages the property.
