About Tri-Mountain State Park

Six acres on the summit of Trimountain's southern peak formed the original gift that created this park, donated by Wallingford resident John B. Kendrick, who had bought the land in 1906 to protect it. The park spans portions of Fowler Mountain and Trimountain across the towns of Wallingford and Durham. There is no road access, so the only way in is on foot via the Mattabesett Trail.

Hours, fees, camping, reservations and closures are set by the park and change often. Check the official park site before you go.
