About Auburn Valley State Park
Red Clay Creek runs through the 471-acre grounds that make up this preserve, which centers on the former home and estate of the Marshall family along with portions of their mills. Four miles of trails cross the land, including a 1.2 mile paved loop for walking and biking. Beyond the park boundary, the state holds conservation easements on 160 acres of adjacent private land to keep the surrounding area rural.
