About Fox Point State Park
Ninety-three acres of riverfront land along the Delaware River mark the northern terminus of Delaware's Coastal Heritage Greenway, a trail corridor that continues south from this point. The ground beneath the park was once a hazardous waste site, reclaimed through an adaptive reuse effort led by S. Marston Fox and the Fox Point Civic Association before the park opened. It sits just off Interstate 495.
