About Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad Trail State Park

A rail line built to connect Tallahassee and St. Marks now forms the base of this 16-mile trail, laid over the old bed of the Tallahassee Railroad. The route runs south to the point where the St. Marks and Wakulla Rivers meet, and the stretch beyond US 98 is part of the Florida National Scenic Trail. A paved section adds about 4 more miles heading north into the city.
