About Haʻena State Park
Sea caves within the park's boundaries are estimated at more than 4,000 years old, formed long before any recorded settlement of the area. The park sits at the point where Kuhio Highway ends, giving access to beaches and trails alongside these geological features. Above the beaches, archaeological remains tied to hula tradition survive, including a heiau dedicated to Laka.
