About Koke'e State Park
Hiking trails and rental cabins sit across a mountainous plateau ranging from roughly 3,200 to 4,200 feet above sea level. The land covers 4,345 acres north of Waimea Canyon State Park on Kauai's west side, managed by the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources. A museum stands at the 15-mile marker along State Road 550, within the park's boundaries.
