About Pokagon State Park
Named for Leopold Pokagon, a 19th-century Potawatomi chief, and his son Simon, the park spans 1,260 acres in northeastern Indiana. An inn and camping facilities sit alongside grounds staffed by full-time naturalists. The park draws nearly 640,000 visitors a year, making it one of the more heavily used state parks in the region.
