About Martinak State Park

The Choptank River meets Watts Creek at this park, formed from land George Martinak deeded to the state. Site work between 1964 and 1974 added campsites, roads, and a park office after the land opened to visitors. Today the grounds include boating access, fishing spots, campsites and cabins, hiking trails, a nature center, and painted rocks.
