About Tuckahoe State Park
Land along Tuckahoe Creek was set aside to protect the waterway and the surrounding Eastern Shore terrain that spans both Caroline and Queen Anne's counties. Within its bounds, the 500-acre Adkins Arboretum maintains more than 600 native plant species and offers public classes covering horticulture, ecology, and natural history, giving visitors a reason to explore beyond the creek itself.
