About Wills Mountain State Park

Overlooking the Cumberland Narrows, this mountain terrain was set aside for public protection under the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. The park covers 470 acres on the northwest edge of the City of Cumberland, occupying the ridge of Wills Mountain itself. Its position above the Narrows gives visitors a view down into the gap where the land drops toward the city below.
