The Dillaway-Thomas House anchors this site, a colonial structure built in 1750 and believed to be the oldest surviving house in Roxbury. Surrounding it is a 1-acre landscaped area offering views of the Boston skyline. The park sits in the oldest section of Roxbury, a former town that became part of Boston in 1868, and it belongs to the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston.
