About Borderland State Park

Ames Mansion, built in 1910, stands at the center of 1,843 acres spanning the towns of Easton and Sharon. The surrounding grounds were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 as the Borderland Historic District. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation manages the property, with an appointed advisory council participating in policy decisions.
