A working sawmill site once known as Dousman's Mill anchors this 625-acre nature preserve and historic park. The land protects the mill's remains along with surrounding forest, and management falls to Mackinac State Historic Parks, the same body that oversees Mackinac Island State Park. The park sits along U.S. Highway 23 southeast of Mackinaw City, combining a historic industrial site with preserved natural land.
