About Bollinger Mill State Historic Site

A gristmill and its adjoining covered bridge here date from before the Civil War, standing together in Burfordville. The site preserves both structures as a pair, with the Burfordville Covered Bridge recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can tour the mill and picnic on the grounds, and the property has been under state management since 1967.
