About Beavertail Hill State Park
River frontage on the Clark Fork stretches through 65 acres alongside Interstate 90, with an elevation of 3,615 feet. Visitors can fish, raft, or swim in the river, walk a short interpretive trail, or stay in one of the tipis available for rent. An amphitheatre hosts interpretive programs on summer Friday evenings, and about 26 campsites accommodate tents or RVs up to 26 feet long, alongside picnic areas.
