About Sluice Boxes State Park
Belt Creek canyon cuts through eight miles of the Little Belt Mountains here, flanked by large cliffs and ledges as the water winds northward out of the range. Remnants of past mining and railroad activity remain scattered throughout the canyon. Visitors can fish, hike, float the creek, picnic, or camp in the backcountry within its bounds.
