About Mohican State Park

1,110 acres of land along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River make up this park, which sits on the south shore of Pleasant Hill Lake and is surrounded by the much larger Mohican-Memorial State Forest. The Clear Fork cuts a narrow gorge through the property before meeting the Black Fork about a half-mile east, where the two form the Mohican River. Access is from Ohio SR 3 and SR 97, and the grounds support camping, hiking, boating, mountain biking, fishing, and picnicking throughout the year.
