About Clayton Lake State Park
A 510-acre park built around its namesake lake, five miles south of Clayton, offers RV and tent sites, primitive cabins, and one two-bedroom family cabin. A fishing dock built for ADA access, a swimming beach, hiking trails, and boat ramps give visitors several ways to use the water and shoreline. In 2024 the park lay within the path of totality for the solar eclipse, with a totality lasting one minute and twenty seconds, one of seven Oklahoma state parks positioned for that view.
