About Hochatown State Park
Once its own independent state park, this site was folded into Beavers Bend State Park in 2017, though it still carries its original name and designation on maps. The land sits along Broken Bow Lake, drawing visitors from Oklahoma and Texas for camping and boating on the water. Its protected status dates to 1966, giving it more than five decades as a recognized public recreation area before the 2017 consolidation.
