About Seneca Fouts Memorial State Natural Area
Hiking trails here follow an abandoned stretch of the Historic Columbia River Highway, giving walkers views over the Columbia River Gorge near Mitchell Point. The natural area is one of three adjoining state parks in this stretch of the Gorge, alongside Vinzenz Lausmann Memorial State Natural Area and Wygant State Natural Area, and is managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
