About Viento State Park
The Columbia River forms the northern edge of this land, with Interstate 84 and the Union Pacific rail line cutting through it as well. Its name traces back to a former railroad stop that once stood on the site. Visitors can reach gorge trails outside the boundaries, launch onto the river for windsurfing or kiteboarding, and use a day-use area alongside a seasonal campground with full services.
