About Colton Point State Park

The Pine Creek Gorge, known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, drops 800 feet deep and stretches nearly 4,000 feet across at this point, and the park sits on its west rim. Covering 368 acres, the land runs from the creek at the bottom up to the rim and across part of the plateau beyond. Activities include picnicking, hiking, fishing, hunting, whitewater boating, and camping. Tioga State Forest surrounds the park, with Leonard Harrison State Park facing it from the opposite, east rim.
