About Ridley Creek State Park

A paved multi-use path runs five miles through the property, crossing terrain shaded by old-growth forest and following stretches of Ridley Creek. Visitors can walk through a formal garden laid out by the Olmsted Brothers, or stop at the Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead, where the routines of a farm from before the Revolutionary War are reenacted. The property spans 2,606 acres across Edgmont, Middletown, and Upper Providence Townships, and it borders the John J. Tyler Arboretum.
