About Shikellamy State Park

240 acres split across two separate sections mark this park, sitting where the West Branch Susquehanna and Susquehanna Rivers meet. A 78-acre overlook occupies a bluff on the river's western bank, while a 54-acre marina lies at the southern tip of Packer Island, between Sunbury and Northumberland. The two branches converge at this point, giving the park its river-junction setting.
